Meet Amanda Smith, the owner and Speech-Language Pathologist of Not Just Words. Amanda brings more than 12 years of experience and compassionate care. She has experience working in the school system and in several healthcare settings with children and adults across the lifespan.   Amanda is a three-time recipient of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association's ACE Award for completing more than double the required amount continuing education hours. Amanda is dedicated to learning and staying up-to-date in the most evidenced-based research to provide quality and effective care to the families she serves. Specialized trainings include The Play Project, PROMPT, Myofunctional therapy, play therapy.

Amanda's dedication to her clients and her career is truly one-of-a-kind. Her clients often say Amanda is "so much more than 'just' a Speech Therapist." She is the epitome of a therapist who goes above and beyond what's expected.
