Meet Amanda Smith, the owner and Speech-Language Pathologist of Not Just Words. Amanda brings more than 10 years of experience and compassionate care. She has experience working in the school system and in several healthcare settings with children and adults across the lifespan. Amanda is a three-time recipient of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association's ACE Award for completing more than double the required amount continuing education hours. Amanda is dedicated to learning and staying up-to-date in the most evidenced-based research to provide quality and effective care to the families she serves. Specialized trainings include The Play Project, PROMPT, Myofascial Release, play therapy.
Amanda's dedication to her clients and her career is truly one-of-a-kind. Her clients often say Amanda is "so much more than 'just' a Speech Therapist." She is the epitome of a therapist who goes above and beyond what's expected.

Jessica is a military wife and mom to two precious girls. She graduated with her B.A. in Journalism and Business in 2010 from the University of Cincinnati. She recently relocated from Southern California where she was the Business Manager for a pediatric occupational and physical therapy company for many years. Both her children have attended therapy as well, so she understands the parent perspective.
In her spare time, you can find Jessica at the pool & playing with her girls and two dogs!
Kenny runs the billing department and is responsible for onboarding new clients. He recently relocated from Ohio to South Carolina where he resides with his wife.
